حسمت ألمانيا قرارها بالتقدم لطلب استضافة بطولة كأس الأمم الأوروبية 2024، وذلك بعد الموافقة الرسمية من جانب الاتحاد الألماني لكرة القدم اليوم الجمعة.
وذكر الاتحاد الألماني في بيان أنه سيقدم طلباً للاتحاد الأوروبي للعبة (يويفا) في موعد أقصاه 3 مارس المقبل، يتضمن إقامة 10 استادات مقترحة في 10 مدن لاحتضان فعاليات البطولة التي تقام بمشاركة 24 منتخبا.
ومن المقرر أن تعلن اللجنة التنفيذية ليويفا عن البلد المنظمة ليورو 2024 في سبتمبر 2018.
